Estimate£200 - £300StatusUnsold Condition ReportThe gold coloured painted detailing throughout is not original. There is a repaired break to the wing of the eagle. There is also a repair where the body of the eagle meets its legs and a modern screw visible at this point, behind this there is a modern and crude pine bracket supporting the eagle. One of the eagle's wings is lacking. The right hand scroll is loose and attention will be needed here to fix it back into position. Many other chips and wear to the gesso detailing here and there throughout particularly to the ball details and some cracks to the frame. A piece of moulding is missing to the bottom of the acanthus leaf detailing. At fault, attention will be needed.
