View details Estimate£150 - £200StatusUnsold Condition ReportOverall solid but well-used condition, showing signs of wear throughout, including, scuffs, scrapes, fading, staining, etc. Lot 56 A 19th century mahogany square tilt-top table, raised on ring turned column to four outswept scrolling supports to brass caps and castors, approx 74 x 122 x 116cm (af). View details Estimate£80 - £120StatusUnsold Condition ReportThere is a split to the veneer on the frieze, with further losses in the locality, exposing the base layer. Further splits throughout the frieze, with scuffs, scrapes, stains, fading, etc throughout commensurate with use and age. Further signs of use to the base. The top section of the column appears to be missing some of its ring turned decoration. The castors are a later replacement and one of the legs is split and has had a crude repair. Lot 57 A 19th century mahogany single-drawer side table, the part galleried top above single frieze drawer set with ivory escutcheon, above a simple apron, raised on square tapering supports, 77 x 51 x 45cm, also a Victorian walnut framed low open arm tub chair, with turned uprights above a circular seat, raised on ring turned supports (2). View details Estimate£30 - £50Winning Bid£60StatusCLOSEDBidding historyBidding history Lot 58 A 19th century mahogany line inlaid commode in the form of a four-drawer bachelor's chest, the hinged upper section opening to reveal a ceramic liner with lid, raised on bracket feet, dimensions when closed 77 x 64 x 45cm (af). View details Estimate£100 - £150StatusUnsold Condition ReportThere is a notable split across the top, with further scuffs and scrapes visible. The upper left hand faux drawer handle is a replacement and the loop handle is detached but present. The front bracket foot is also detached but present. Further signs of general wear throughout, including scuffs, scrapes, fading, staining, splits, etc. Lot 59 A 19th century mahogany dresser with moulded cornice above boarded plate rack of three shelves, above a T-formation base of six drawers flanked by a pair of fielded panelled doors, raised on bracket feet, 221 x 168 x 50cm. View details Estimate£200 - £400Winning Bid£160StatusCLOSED Condition ReportIt would appear that the back legs have been cropped slightly to fit into a particular property, resulting in the dresser now noticeably leaning backwards. The boarded plate rack has been later painted black and the mahogany finish has two tones to it. There is a noticeable difference between the carcass, drawer fronts and fielded panels. Further signs of wear throughout including scuffs, scrapes, fading, staining, etc. Lot 60 A 19th century ebonised gilt brass mounted boulle work side cabinet, with single door centred with an oval boulle work panel, within a gilt brass border, above a brass inlaid shaped plinth centred with a further gilt brass floral arrangement, 111 x 87 x 42cm (af). View details Estimate£80 - £120Winning Bid£150StatusCLOSED Condition ReportThe top ebonised plinth has some light signs of wear, including light surface scratches, crazing, etc. There are some areas of the brasswork loose from the boulle panels, however, apart from a couple of small areas, it does appear to be complete, with further loose bits of brass stringing inside the cabinet. The most notable damage is a split to the right hand side of the oval centre panel, which is visible throughout the panel itself and further visible beyond the gilt brass border. Would certainly benefit from some restoration work. No makers mark, French design Lot 61 A 19th century and later mahogany corner wash stand, with arched back, raised on square tapering outswept supports united by an undertier, with single central drawer flanked by a pair of faux drawers, 107 x 55 x 38.5cm (later top). View details Estimate£40 - £60Winning Bid£15StatusCLOSED Condition ReportThe arched back is loose and the surface does not have the cut-away holes for the jug and bowl set, hence the comment about the later top.
