The threaded screw for the cover is a little bit loose in the clasp, but it does remain functional. There are light surface scratches throughout the brass section of this clock, but this appears to be due to cleaning rather than damage. The wooden plinth is in fairly good order, apart from being slightly dusty, with a light scratch on the back edge of the clock. Visually it is in overall good order. We do not have any information on the history of this piece.
