The very top section where it has been carved roughly, there are gaps and splits to this portion. The pliasters either side of the hood door are lacking a brass trim on the upper right section. There is an arched cutaway on both sides of the hood, one has a glass cover, the other one is just open. There are further splits and losses to the hood. The face is potentially a replacement, as there does not appear to be anything behind the central winding hole. There is a date aperture ring present, but it has dropped slightly behind the movement, so maybe it is a window or an open aperture for viewing the date, as opposed to a winding hole. The subsidiary dial hand is missing. The silvered chapter ring is heavily worn and scratched throughout. The actual body of the clock appears to be in fairly good order. There is a slight surface split to the upper portion of the door, but it is not significant. The plinth base has a slight piece of veneer missing on the upper right shoulder and a further split to the lower right corner. Further slight wear to the surface throughout the clock body. The main plinth panel has a horizontal split near the top and a further split lower down. There are further scuffs to the bracket base. There is a non-matching pair of weights present, and a pendulum. The body has a key, but there is no winding key.
