An early 20th century matching pair of large bronze verdigris figures of agricultural workers, young woman carrying wheat sheaves with prancing goat at her side, impressed signature 'F. de Luca' to the back and a young man returning from the fields carrying a large basket on his back and smoking a pipe, impressed signature A. Dohm to the base, both on stylised rocky plinths and green stepped marble bases, height of each 59cm (2).
