Condition ReportIn overall very good condition, showing no signs of use externally and only very minor signs of use internally. The leather breakdown case has some very minor staining and surface scuffs to the top and there is further very minor staining to the canvas cover. There is no receipt with this lot. The gun is straight cast, it is nitro proofed but not marked for steel, pull length 14 1/2", total length 120cm, weight approx 3.8kg. The pull length is 14 1/2", weight approx 3.8kg. It is a straight cast so is not specifically left or right handed. There is no oval on the stock. The drop of the stock, i.e. the height from a level surface to the bottom of the stock when the gun is inverted is 5". We do not know the year of manufacture. The stock appears straight cast, but we cannot be absolutely definitive on this. There is a small insignificant fracture to the hand of the stock and it has been subject an approved repair by Benjamin Wild & Son of Birmingham who suggested a repair was preferable to replacing the stock, recommended action was carried out. We do not have a copy of the repair invoice but the vendor i going to see if they can locate it.
