Condition ReportBoth side handles are lacking. There is a chip to the wood at the back right corner of the lid. Some old hair line cracks to the lid. The front left corner of the lid knocked. A few other small knocks at the back edge. The mirror to the underside of the lid has some spotting and age wear. There is spotting to all of the small mirrors in the fitted tray some more so than others. The back right mirror is broken in four areas and with a small chip. The steel clamps with some light tarnishing / rusting. The needle case is lacking two of the Jewels to the lid and one to the base section. The turned case enclosing the steel hook lacking all of the jewel detailing to the bottom section and five to the upper section. The steel prick with surface loss to the gilt flower on the handle. Scissors lacking six jewels. The small case enclosing the two blades is lacking four jewels. Feather handle to quill lacking five jewels. The mother of pearl needle is lacking the tip. One of the wool winders lacking two jewels. At the front of the tray there is an aperture for a scent flask, this is lacking and the folding knife is a replacement. The two mother of pearl circular winders to the right and left corners of the tray may not be original. There are losses and knocks to the gilt paper of the tray. With mechanism key and lock key. The musical box is over wound and does not play.
