Some tarnishing and general light age wear patina to the exterior and to the underside of the base. Metal at the rim edge of the base is a two tone colour. Clear makers mark, date mark rubbed and double headed eagle mark rubbed away at the bottom. The scratch engraving to the rim is not original but is not recently done it is hard to make out the second part of this which might be a date. For the same masters mark see Geoffrey Watts, Russian Silver Hallmarks 1700-1917, p204 with a date for use of the mark between 1719-1750.
