View details Estimate£4,000 - £6,000Winning Bid£4,000StatusCLOSED Condition ReportBoth are numbered 4639, one is stamped with the Bergmann mark and with an indistinct name stamped beneath. the second bronze has the indistinct mark, which presumably is the Bergman mark, stamped beside the 4639 number. The figure with rifle on his back has a broken base which has been glue repaired. The second figure that is hawking has a small chip approx 15 x 10mm to the marble base and a couple of further small marks. This figure also has some rubbing around the ankles and the right wrist with just gentle rubbing elsewhere. The figure with rifle again has some rubbing to raised parts, as you would expect, but both retain a huge proportion of original colour and both really are stunning examples of Bergmann bronzes.
