The bail has been added later, as mentioned, to turn it into a pendant and it would have had a pin as a brooch feature also. The enamel is in good condition. As detailed in the provenance this is from a private collection in Jersey and the vendor believes it was purchased from the estate jewellery sale of Lady Jersey, although there is no paperwork to collaborate this.
