There are vertical splits to both side panels, as can be seen in the photographs. There are also some minor losses around the lower plinth where this sits onto the stand. There is an old patch repair to the top left hand corner of the right hand door and also to the lower left hand corner of the right hand door. A very thin sliver repair to the upper section of the left hand door. The inside of the left hand door is slightly paler than the right hand door. There are several fine cracks through the veneer to the inner drawers. The drawers are lined with paper, some of which has been replaced. The stand has some losses. Brass front plates are later additions. Overall a good example. The brass plates have been added fairly recently, judging by the way they have been attached. The given width is including the cornice, the width to either end of the splayed feet 121cm, the base comprising the apron and feet is probably married up as it is a much darker colour and of a cruder finish to the rest of the piece, this base also has numerous large chips to the veneer. No visible woodworm. Three of the glazed panels to lower left door are cracked.
