A few typical small chips to the raised parts through use. There is a natural fine small crack to the haft which follows a grain line in the timber. There are a few small knocks to the terminal of the haft and there is a hole through the terminal presumably for a wristband. Unfinished relates to the natural finished 'blade' on the piece which has a gnarled appearance. Please see additional photographs for elucidation of catalogue description comments.
