Regarding the bird decorated service, there are four comports, or pedestal bowls and four plates, one comport badly damaged as seen, several others with chips to underside, general heavy scratches, some loss to decoration. The majority numbered 288 to reverse, one with a slightly darker pink glaze has not been numbered. Regarding the Aynsley part tea service there are seven cups, eleven shallow bowls, one af with a chip to the rim, twelve saucers and two side plates quite heavy surface wear with glaze losses. Majority have Maple London marks to bases, some appear to be second quality, there is more Aynsley tea ware, green glazed with floral detail to cups, there are five cups and six saucers, there are three Shelly plates, decorated with transfer prints of three leaf clovers, again glaze losses general heavy surface wear including scratches and there is another small group or tea ware by Kokura with transfer printed floral decoration There is one side sandwich plate, there are three saucers. Oval twin-handled pedestal bowl, one handle has been crudely repaired. One triangular bowl with extensive cracking and breaks, the piece has been dropped and crudely glued back together. One rectangular with large cracks and chips throughout. Four circular plates have been damaged, two with large pieces broken out and crudely glued back into place, and two with extensive cracking to body. The pattern number is 3835, but these pieces are otherwise unmarked, there are seventeen side plates, a jug, a large bowl, three vaguely triangular shallow bowls and two vaguely oval shaped shallow bowls as well as two rectangular shaped shallow bowls. The jug is not part of this set, it is produced by Davenport, but it is extensively damaged. There is a chip to the underside of one of the oval bowls, the other is badly cracked throughout.
