Condition ReportThe largest ginger jar has a very obvious and quite unsightly joint line visible to the interior. Some chips to the foot rim and a chip to the rim. One of the smaller two is completely at fault, cracked and crudely repaired all the way around with losses. The other with a firing manufacturing flaw to the rim and also has a heavy layer of old dirt/glue around the rim as well as several visible firing cracks to the interior. All have quite substantial surface wear, manufacturing imperfections, scratches, dirt, etc, and pitting throughout. The oatmeal glazed example has heavy wear to the enamel decoration, crazed throughout and a general rough finish. The polychrome decorated example lid is badly cracked and crudely repaired, with rubbing to the enamel decoration, manufacturing imperfections, inclusions, pitting, staining etc, throughout.
