Lot 64 of 493: TATSUZO SHIMAOKA (1919-2007); a square stoneware dish, incised decoration on speckled grey ground, incised mark, 22 x 22cm. Tatsuzo Shimaoka was a Japanese mingei potter who studied under Shoji Hamada and later became the second 'Living National Treasure' of Mashiko, Japan. Provenance: The Nancy & Andrew Ramage collection.
