Lot 530 of 984: WIDENHAM & ADAMS; a good mid-19th century rosewood and brass inlaid marine chronometer with outer mahogany case bearing ivory plaque numbered 228 and with leather straps enclosing the rosewood two-sectioned brass inlaid main case, the upper glass bearing a handwritten label 'Cleaned 6/1913.J.Sewill' with Sewill label to the lid, the chronometer itself with silvered dial inscribed 'Widenham & Adams Makers to the Royal Navy, Lombard St. London 1943' and with twin brass carrying handles.
