Lot 1564 of 1701: HERITAGE INSTRUMENTS OF CREWE; a 1995 replica of the first reflecting telescope invented by Sir Isaac Newton and made with his own hands in 1671, produced under licence from The Royal Society, bearing inscribed brass plaque no.28 to the circular wooden base and contained within a glazed rectangular wooden cabinet.
